The Three Day Elimination Fasting Retreat
Fasting has stood the test of time for more than 5000 years. Fasting has a powerful effect on the body as well as the spirit. It allows the vital force within to rebuild and recharge. Overall mid-body organization is increased with fasting. Ideally, one withdraws from everything that is toxic to the mind, body and spirit.
The three day fasting retreat lead by Liz Coetzee. According to many professional fasting experts and nutritionists, including Dr. Bernard Jensen, Paul Bragg, V.E. Irons, Dr. Max Gerson, Dr. Hulda Clark and Dr. Hillary Adrian Han. As fasting is becoming more popular in Taiwan and around the world, it is important to choose a good source of fasting information, including preparation for fasting, how to break fasting, possible benefits and effects, and understanding how does body work during fasting.
In this three-day fasting retreat, we will conduct two main activities:
1. Daily fasting process: body cleansing, bowel cleansing, cleansing drinks, herbal supplements and internal parasite removal (there are dozens of cleaning supplies used, and more than 10 fruits and vegetables in juices and soups).
2. The themed talks: Five fasting-related themed courses, daily yoga and meditation.
This fasting retreat is not stop eating any food, but enhances the purification and detoxification of the body through effective fasting supplements. To effectively remove toxins from blood and tissues, fasting must last for at least three full days. Therefore, it is recommended that you can start by this three-day fasting, if you don't have any fasting experience.
🌿 What's happening during the fasting retreat?
Depending on your level of toxicity, willingness to let go of old, stuck emotions, metabolism and intention to the fast, each person will have different experiences on their fast.
Day 1: You may feel hungry, but this hunger is more the effect of mental programming to eat three times a day. You might experience some dizziness and mild headache as the toxins start to enter the bloodstream. You also might have slight insomnia, due to the toxin release. On the first day, most people feel inspired and even energized.
Day 2 : The headaches might increase in intensity, as well as dizziness and insomnia. In more 'serious' cases, people might feel nauseous and feel like fainting. Day 2 is usually the hardest for most people, especially for first time fasters. It is time to REST and DIGEST the patterns that are released. Some people may have no reaction, they may feel more energetic and have positive energy.
Day 3: One might feel a sudden burst of anger, sadness, frustration, joy or energy. Whatever is being released from your body physically, can have a huge emotional release response. Just let it be and let it go. Your energy level is likely to rise and you might start to have better sleep. Your mind is clearing and brain fog is disappearing. Your body may start to feel lighter, when the toxins are leaving your body, it creates space for the healing energy in deep tissues and organs.
